This can affect you especially if you work long hours, if you are a shift worker or business driver, if you travel a lot.

Sleep Deprivation: Why Lack Of Sleep Is Bad For Your Health

Lack of sleep can affect your balance and coordination, making you more likely to fall, bump into things, or have similar physical accidents.

They don’t call it “beauty sleep” for nothing. Not getting enough sleep will wreak havoc on your skin.

A small 2015 study funded by the Estee Lauder Companies found that women who didn’t get enough sleep had significant signs of skin aging and decreased skin barrier function. More research is still needed to fully understand how sleep affects the skin.
