4 Year Old Boy Birthday Cake Designs – A friend at work saw the superhero cake I made for my husband a few years ago and he loved it. It’s her son’s birthday soon and her 4 year old son has a great love for all superheroes and spends hours coloring pictures and dressing up with his dad! The Superman burst from above was a must, but he wanted to challenge me and asked if Superman could hold up the number 4 with his arms outstretched – I agreed! I’m happy to say I wasn’t crazy enough to agree!
I was a little mad that I said I would make the cake first! With the wedding cake the main priority for our amazing friends Adam and Jo’s big day, I had to be super super organized to make sure this cake would fit in well with the cake plans already in place. Every evening, starting a week before the big day, what needs to be done and when is precisely planned. By the time I left work on Thursday, the Superman cake had to be ready so that – just like a wedding cake – the fun hours could begin!

The final result showed Superman holding the number 4 above his head! I was so impressed with the results. We had a few structural issues with the No. 4, but those were fixable and it seems to stay in the air. As you can imagine I wasn’t cool about it and the cake couldn’t be eaten until Saturday, which meant he had to have his hands on it until then. I guess I didn’t really believe I could do it, so for me to get up like that took me by surprise! I don’t actually think I take the time to think about doing this, I just keep going and deal with any problems that arise!
