Really Good Books For 11 Year Olds

Really Good Books For 11 Year Olds – Once they’ve finished the first one, they’ll be hooked and want the rest – ready to make them ask you to buy them books instead of encouraging them to read.

Greg Heffley’s run is fun and the cartoons make these books fun and easy to read. Although it is set in America – with Middle School and Thanksgiving – the stories of family life and his struggle with the older brother Rodrick in general. There’s a new one on the way.

Really Good Books For 11 Year Olds

For young readers, but the same series of stories about the family, friends and school life of Henry and, in this case, his annoying brother Perfect Peter. There are so many books in this series, they will keep you entertained for months. The best part… Henry can be mean, sneaky and a little scary, but the kids love him.

Fantastic Books For 10 Year Old Boys

Humor and imagery are also a winning combination. Although the “dork” is 14 years old Nikki Maxwell, her “unfortunate life” in Middle School appeals to young students between 9 and 12 and is described as the Wimpy Kid of girls.

Tracy Beaker’s series about a girl abandoned by her mother at the Foundling Hospital in 1876 follows her story as she grows up. For girls nine to 11, the second episode sees Hetty return as Sapphire Battersea.

With unusual characters and surreal stories, this series is full of humor, crude descriptions and unusual stories set in Lamonic Bibber that leave room for children to use their imaginations. Read yourself and laugh.

The young characters (fourth graders in the US – about 10 years old), who are close friends, neighbors, class clowns and cartoonists whose hero – who calls himself Captain Underpants – is actually their very difficult, cruel principal who has been put to sleep.

Editorial: A Few Of Dob’s Favorite Books To Read With Kids

Perfect for readers who struggle with thick pages, these books are full of illustrations, different sized fonts, doodles and jokes – making it easy to turn the pages for fun.

She appears to be a normal little girl, but secretly she is a witch who goes to school during the day, but at the Coven Road orphanage she studies witchcraft and magic. A cure for princess stories, these are great stories for young girls.

These stories are about the young actress Elly and her friends – the tomboy Sierre and the outsider Tash – who make their club for any girl who likes pink and wants to grow up.

One for boys with magical animals, witches, treasures, battles between good and evil, magic and heroes – they will appeal to boys of a certain age, and since there are 60 in this series, there is enough to keep them engaged (and. they can collect playing cards).

Stan lives with his Uncle Ernie and Aunt Annie because his father died in an accident and his mother from a broken heart. Then the madness began. Ernie lost his job and suddenly became interested in canned fish.

Stan soon tires of the canned goods and seeks his own future thanks to superstar Pancho Pirelli who swims with piranhas.

This book is from the popular How to Train Your Dragon series and is my favorite. If you haven’t read any of the series, it’s best to start with book 1.

Of The Best Books For A 10 Year Old

Fishlegs is in love with the king’s daughter, but she is not of royal blood, so Hiccup enters. Can you complete the impossible task and save the fish legs from the monster? You’ll have to read to find out.

Harrison tries his best to be good. He’s not bad, he doesn’t cheat and he always shares his sister, but he can’t control his anger.

In the parry, Harrison finds a black hole instead of a balloon and for a while he likes to get rid of things that annoy him, but soon he realizes that he has to be careful what he wishes for.

I love this book as the author takes a real thing (black holes) and turns it into fiction.

While Kaitlyn prefers audiobooks, Hailey looks forward to crawling in at a reasonable hour so she has time to read a few chapters before bed. He has narrowed down to a favorite type; he loves fantasy, adventure and everything full of adventure and magic. Throw in some history, as a cherry on top!

I asked her to put together a list of her favorite books and series to share with other kids her age who might be looking for book recommendations. You jumped at the chance, and here are the winners they recommend!

Good Books For 11 Year Old Boys And Girls

A spin-off of the popular series Storyland (another series we highly recommend, because we listen to them together…

), Hailey praises this series because it is full of twists and ideas. He likes the way it connects to the legends and in his opinion, “they are very well written.”

When Brystal Evergreen stumbles upon a secret library, she finds a book that introduces her to a world beyond her imagination and learns the impossible: She’s a fairy who can do magic! But in the oppressive Kingdom of the South, women are not allowed to study and magic is forbidden, so Brystal is quickly convicted for his crimes and sent to the squalid Bootstrap Penitentiary.

But with the help of the mysterious Madame Weatherberry, Brystal is freed and enrolled in magic school! Adventure comes with a price, but when Madam Weatherberry is called to solve an important problem, she doesn’t return.

Resilient Reads For Middle Graders

Do Brystal and her classmates have what it takes to stop an evil conspiracy that threatens the future of the world, and magic, forever?

Hailey loves how the characters in these stories are children of Greek gods. You are only one book, but you are starting to cultivate others. He says that powers make for exciting stories, as the characters must use them to fight monsters.

Follow the son of the sea god Poseidon and his other demigod friends as they embark on a series of quests that will see them encounter monsters, gods and figures from Greek mythology. Do they have what it takes to save the Olympians from an ancient enemy?

Hailey praises the whole series (but says let’s start with Rump!) because of the unique and happy changes that are brought to life with these “true stories” of popular fairy tales.

Ban This Book

In a magical kingdom where your name is your fate, 12-year-old Rump is everyone’s joke. But when he finds an old spinning wheel, his luck seems to change. Rump discovers that he has the gift of spinning straw into gold. Her best friend, Little Red Riding Hood, warns her that magic is dangerous, and rightly so. With each thread you spin, you weave yourself further into the curse.

To break the spell, Rump must go on a dangerous mission, fighting goblins, trolls, poisonous apples and a stupid evil queen. The odds are against him, but with courage and friendship – and a good sense of humor – he can win in the end.

Hailey recommends these books because you can immerse yourself in history and walk the Oregon Trail. The decisions you make when you choose your (very fun) adventure determine your destiny. He liked to try all different ways to see if he had what it took to survive the harsh conditions of this period in American history.

It’s 1850 and your first goal is to get your family, a covered wagon full of supplies and cattle to Chimney Rock in time. But hurry – you need to get through the rugged mountains before winter
