In this video I show you how to remove keratin hair extensions using all Donna Bella hair and products! I share all my tips and tricks for removing these attachments, as well as my favorite products to use while doing so.

The removal process is quite simple, but very tedious. If your client has experienced some matting like I have, you should make sure to brush the client’s hair thoroughly. I love using the Donna Bella Extensions brush. This is also a great time to educate them on proper extension care. Remind them to brush their hair 2-3 times a day and pay special attention to the attachment area.

Starting from the bottom, I have to highlight the first part. When you’re doing extensions, you always want clean sections, and this is a great example of why. You can easily remove them with less trouble. With the help of my Donna Bella Keratin Bond Remover, I get to work.

Using Bond Remover, I spray on 3-4 Keralink extensions on the base. Then I take my Luke tool and use the slotted part of the tool to disrupt the keratin. When you feel the keratin has broken down enough, grab the natural hair and gently pull the extension out.
