Montessori Stocking Stuffer Ideas For Your Little (by Theme!)
If you need some baby socks for your family this year, here are some of our favourites…
1. BOOK PLATES. It’s fun to label as your own, and label stickers are the perfect way to start a little library. These cute, personalized bookends are gender neutral (and adorable). Alternatively, we love this cute rainbow!
2. LAMP IS TASTY. Whether it’s used for exploring, telling ghost stories, or reading undercover, a small flashlight always comes in handy!
3. READING TIMER TAB I have a little bookmark timer for many reasons. 1) They motivate children who like to break records, keep streaks or compete. 2) They are good for tracking school reading or reaching a reading goal 3) They are hard to lose! I like the size and weight. This year I got one for each kid!

4. ORIGAMI ANIMALS TABS. These cute animal origami bookmarks look pretty easy and look great in the corner of your favorite book!
5. THE LIGHT OF BOOKS. This amber book lamp is a great choice if you want to be more hands-free! Not only are they rechargeable (no batteries!) but they avoid blue light thanks to their amber glow. It is fun, beautiful and useful to fly after reading.
6. PEANUT FREE PAINT. We love the mess-free Color Wonder product range. They have activity books and coloring books for my kids.
7. DRAWING NOTES These little sketchbooks are great. Each mini book has a different animal waiting to be “fed”. I love all kinds of animals! My kids have been asking for more this year and I’ve added these cute “dress me up” kids notebooks. They are great for waiting rooms, travel, restaurants and anytime you need to get something done.

8. DOODLE PADS. As a child (and still am as an adult!) I was a big doodler. This fun little doodle notepad has a fun or unique shape on each page that you can use as a starting point for doodling and drawing. My kids love it!
9. PUFFY STICKERS. This is our FAVORITE! The sticker gets used a lot before losing the stick, despite lots and lots (and A LOT!) of moving around. Pet Shop and Chipmunk House are already two of our favorites, although you can get a trio of mermaids, princesses and dress ups for a bargain price!
10. PAINT STICKS. This bright, bold stick makes less of a mess than any other color I know of. They dry quickly, work like markers and clean up really well!
11. The best PLAY-DOUGH (the one that doesn’t smell). I kind of hate play-doh. The smell always gets me and I really don’t like it. What I love is the Magic Model. It’s gluten-free, has no detectable odor, and comes in all kinds of cute colors at Target and Michaels. My kids love it and always end up with at least one pack in their stocking.

12. CREATIVE CUTTING AND CRAFT. Maybe it’s a pack of play dough tools, fun scalloped scissors or beads. Something to inspire creativity.
