Together we have come this far and your support has been humbling. This has been an exhausting journey for our family, starting with the diagnosis of Sanfilippo Syndrome in April 2019. Like any family, we initially needed to grieve the life we thought we knew and confront the new life we faced. We went public with our story in August 2019 and our fundraising took off. We expected to release our “Save Connor” video in March 2020, but the pandemic ground the world to a halt. However, the cure couldn’t wait, so last October we decided we couldn’t wait any longer and launched it.
