Take the fabric and lay it flat. Gently pour regular dish soap into the sticky mess. I used 7th generation, but any soap should be fine. Try not to leave too much – just a drop (it foams up and the stain can be hard to see.) If you work too much, just wipe it off with a towel – nothing big.

If you’ve ever washed and dried a sticker on your clothes, you know it can be a bear to get off.

If you don’t already know, this little secret will save you a lot of time and money the next time a sticker is stuck on the back (or front) of your children’s clothes and in your washing machine.

Then rub the sticker with a cloth or cotton ball. You don’t need to scrub, just make sure the entire sticker is wet.

Rub the area a little more to get all the sticker off. (For the most stubborn, you might want to choose something milder.)
