Easter Gifts For 1 Year Old Girl

Easter Gifts For 1 Year Old Girl

Easter Gifts For 1 Year Old Girl – Ahhh the weather is slowly warming up and I’m already looking forward to one of my favorite times of the year! Easter! Easter certainly feels like a holiday that transitions us from the long cold days of winter to the warm, breezy days of spring and summer!

I love filling Easter baskets every year (I made them for my husband before I had boys!) 18 month olds can be a little tricky to shop for, they’re too old for lots of baby toys (rattles, teethers, etc.) but the choking hazard They are too young for the many toys and sweets created!

P.S. I also have last year’s Easter baskets in my blog post if you need ideas for your under 1 year old!

Water Wow Books and Magic Marker Books: These are perfect coloring ideas for beginner colorists like my boys! They are also great for use in the car! (Although I have linked some that you can buy, I was able to find mine for a dollar cheaper at Target and T.J. Maxx!)

Paint with Watercolor Book and Permanent Coloring Book: Once again, the mess-free choice of watercolor! Plus, you can’t go wrong with a basic coloring book with a few favorite characters! (Again, check out Dollar Tree or Target Dollar Place for coloring books!)

Sidewalk Chalk: While there are so many cute Easter egg chalk options out there, I opted for this giant tub for $6! What a great thing!

The boys definitely needed new bathing suits for our next trip to the beach, so I bought them a nice suit from H&M. I don’t see the exact one on their website right now, but this one is so cute and so similar!

Amazon.com: Baby Toy Car, Easter Basket Stuffers For Babies, Easter Gifts For Baby Girl & Boy, Green Toys Cars For Infants 1 2 3 Year Old, Push Cars For Toddler Girls, Rattle

I love the idea of putting items in your child’s Easter basket that you have to buy anyway! I’m out of room to put more in the cart, but sandals or alligators, glasses, swim trunks, sun hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, new pajamas, a new shirt or dress are all great ideas!

Melissa and Doug Sand Making Turtle Set: We’re going to the beach in May so I knew I wanted to get them some sand toys! I thought this kit was cute, well priced and simple!

Mickey and Yoda Pop-it: These pop-it violin toys are very popular right now! I love that Disney releases collectibles even though you can buy anything you want with them! They are so well made and so cute! There are many other options including Minnie, Olaf, Ariel and Stitch!

Haba Musical Eggs: Well, these were a bit of a stretch, but I honestly couldn’t find any cheaper dupes for these other than the usual ‘rice’ shakers. I think my boys will love these and the different sounds they make! I know they love simple instruments like this in their music lessons, so I think they’ll be a hit! And they go perfectly with the Easter “Egg” theme!

Nearby (Psalm 139): This beautiful board book is written by the company that makes the Jesus Storybook Bible (one of our favorites!). The illustrations are beautiful and the story tells how God is with them wherever they go! Plus, it’s a fun “spy” book because the last page has all kinds of things the kid is walking around the room with! (e.g. spaceship night light!)

Found (Psalm 23): Another book from the same company as the Jesus Storybook Bible, this book reminds kids that God always cares for them! I think this cover is very “Easter” and Spring!

We loved our copy of First 100 Animals: Baby’s First 100 Words. My boys learned a lot from this! So this book seemed like a great addition, especially since we’re really into animals and animal sounds right now!

I don’t like my boys to eat too much sugar though. I thought Reese’s eggs and cute bunny cookies (found at Target) would be appropriate to add to the baskets! I also added some Bobo Chocolate Oatmeal pieces that they have never tried before! I can even add some of your favorite bags to fill the gaps in the cart!

Kids Easter Baskets & Easter Basket Stuffers For 2024

This is my last “first Easter” basket this year :'( I just want to make it extra special because it’s the last time I’ll be able to dress up a kid in “Baby’s 1st Easter” clothes and fill a little basket full of baby treasures.

Since I’m in the middle of planning, I wanted to share some ideas with you to make your baby’s first Easter even sweeter than a fluffy Easter bunny!

What do you put in an Easter basket for a toddler who definitely doesn’t eat sweets and isn’t even ready for cupcakes or yogurt bites?

Why not give him a free space designed just for playing with tags! This is probably safer because these tags are sewn so they don’t come off or tear. Taggies makes blankets, rattles, pacifiers and much more to keep your baby busy and happy!

2- Tomy Hide & Squeak Eggs – So cute and perfect for Easter! The eggs in this little box squeak when baby pushes them and doubles as a matching game. Large eggs are perfect for baby’s little hands. Fun and educational 😉

3-Baby Babble – I have to add my favorite baby product: the Baby Babble range. These DVDs were made by two speech therapists and have helped my children learn to speak. They start with simple sounds and each video includes sign language. When my daughters looked at them, I saw them trying to repeat the sounds. They were very engaged with the videos (although I wasn’t sure when I first watched them) and the babies seem to love the simple sights and sounds. They are recommended starting at 3 months of age (for the first video) and increasing from there. We have the entire series because I was so impressed I bought every single one! This starter set will be the perfect addition to baby’s Easter basket!

4- Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes Musical Toy – It seems like all my friends with babies have this cute musical toy. Easy for baby to hold, light up and play 7 different classical music selections. There’s even a volume adjustment for little ears. Mine has held 3 kids so it’s pretty durable!

5-Links – These links are very helpful! Babies love to chew them to ease teething pain. I use them to attach toys and cups to strollers, high chairs, and highchairs. I make a chain long enough for baby to reach out and attach to toys (like the Baby Einstein musical toy above) and then to the stroller. Baby can reach the toy without falling, and mom doesn’t have to play fetch (on a germy floor!). They are also great for developing fine motor skills.

6-O Ball Rattles – If you haven’t heard of O Balls, they are a line of children’s toys with large, flexible holes that make it easy for little hands to grasp. I have seen these toys often used by early childhood development professionals because they are great for developing motor skills. They come in many forms, such as rattles, balls, rolling cars, large balls to put on the floor, and even this awesome Activity Arch that attaches to strollers to keep baby busy on the go. It can even be added to an Easter basket
